We don't want to give people the impression that we only care about economical and budget friendly. That aint us. We love beautiful things. If we could, we'd spend our last penny on home decor (we have). We love design and style and craftsmanship and never balk when we think the item is worth the investment.
Since we
posted about the budget friendly Flor tiles, we figured we should pay respect to the other end of the spectrum:
Madeline Weinrib. Located on the top floor of ABC Home (her great-grandfather started the store, so there's that...) her Chenille Metallic, Denim and wool carpets are like looking (and touching) pieces of art. She sells
cotton versions across the street, and while those are great looking (and much less money) it's the high-end ($10,000 plus for an 8 x 10, mind you) rugs that really get us going. It's worth it to go check them out. They are just so good. So. Good. Xo.
